We’ve been busy behind the scenes here at Five Oaks Farm, and I’m so excited to finally pull back the curtain on a project that has been in the works for a while: our new on-farm retail store!

Bringing the Farm to Your Table

For the past several months, we’ve been designing a dedicated retail room right here in our feedlot office. My goal was to create a space that feels like "home"—a warm, inviting "farm rustic" environment where you can get to know us, see the farm, and pick up your favorite beef cuts, jerky, and bundles directly from the source.

Whether you’re stopping by to grab a "Dad Snack Pack" for the weekend or stocking your freezer with premium steaks for a special dinner, this store is designed to make high-quality, transparently-raised protein more accessible to our local neighbors in Iowa.

Why a Physical Store Matters

As a nurse, I’ve always valued the importance of community and face-to-face connection. While I love that we can share our beef with people across the country, there is something truly special about being able to meet our customers in person. It’s an opportunity for us to share the story of our cattle, explain our feeding protocols, and show you exactly where your food comes from.

We’ve been putting so much love into the details—from the highway signage that will make us easy to find to the commercial-grade freezers we’re stocking to ensure you have the best selection available whenever you need it.
